Episode 1 of Doganin Kanunu (The Law of Nature) opens with Yaman, an idealistic engineer, suffering a crushing humiliation from Doğa, the daughter of a powerful business owner, during the most important job interview of his life. Soon after, he becomes the victim of a tragic accident that turns his world upside down. Five years later, fate brings them face to face again in a way neither could have imagined. Doğa, whose failed ventures have earned her a reputation for ruining every project she touches, is preparing to leave for Paris for a new opportunity, but her father Hulusi decides to teach her a hard lesson about life instead and sends her to an organic farming estate he has invested in. What Doğa doesn't realize is that the farm is now run by Yaman. When she tries to thank the stranger who saved her dog Samsa from a cliff edge, the warm moment between them turns cold the instant she introduces herself, leaving Doğa stunned by his sudden harsh change and asking why he reacted that way to her name. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, as Doğa loses control of her car while chasing after Mert and plunges off a cliff into the sea, leaving her fate uncertain.
