Rather than seeking sympathy from the court, Chan-yeong openly accepts responsibility for his actions, leaving Chang-won questioning the purpose of advocacy when a client has no desire to defend himself. At the same time, Kim Hyeong-min becomes increasingly determined to help a victim of financial fraud despite repeated setbacks, reminding everyone that justice often requires persistence rather than quick victories. The episode closes on a heartbreaking cliffhanger as Moon-jung suddenly experiences severe abdominal pain after returning home. The frightening emergency leaves her family and friends fearing for both her health and her unborn child, bringing an emotional end to an episode that examines the difficult balance between professional ambition, personal sacrifice and the dreams people continue chasing despite life's unexpected challenges.
