Back in the quiet, taffy-scented town of Gujin, Eun-sae clashes immediately with the colourful local residents — warm but nosy neighbours who are clearly surprised by her sharp tongue and total lack of rural charm. Tae-ha quietly goes around apologising for her, explaining to anyone who will listen that she is still recovering and is a good person underneath. His words carry far more warmth than the situation calls for, and by the end of the episode, Eun-sae herself seems to notice it — when Tae-ha, almost without thinking, tells her that everything about her is pretty.
