Her loyal best friend, CHOI HEE-WON (Yoon Sang-jeong), secretly submitted the application on her behalf — hoping that getting Ji-woo into the study group would give her some protection from the bullying she's been silently enduring. The full picture is darker than it first appears. A member of the school's Disciplinary Committee named GYU-JIN has been blackmailing Ji-woo with a video of her brother Hyeon-woo appearing to rob a convenience store. What the video doesn't show is the full truth: Hyeon-woo was coerced into it by Gyu-jin himself, who set up the robbery, filmed it as insurance, and then lent Hyeon-woo money while keeping the video as leverage. Hyeon-woo has no idea who actually mugged him. Ji-woo, terrified of what publishing the video would do to her brother, has been letting Gyu-jin treat her however he likes.
