Episode 96 of The Nightfall (Bir Gece Masali) brings the 33rd Turkish episode to its darkest and most dangerous climax as Canfeza discovers a devastating secret about Sevde's death and becomes the target of Afet's desperate attempt to escape the consequences of her actions. Canfeza's happiness over her pregnancy is suddenly overshadowed by a shocking discovery. While Mahir continues investigating the secrets surrounding his family, Canfeza comes closer to the truth about what happened to Sevde. The information she discovers changes everything she thought she knew about the tragedy. Canfeza learns that Afet played a role in Sevde's death, a revelation that leaves her emotionally devastated. Canfeza struggles to process the truth. The woman who has repeatedly accused others of being responsible for Sevde's death is now revealed to have been connected to the tragedy herself. The revelation is especially painful because Canfeza has spent so much time being treated as though she were responsible for the suffering of the family. Learning the truth about Afet creates a deep emotional shock. Canfeza cannot immediately confront everyone with what she has discovered. The weight of the secret becomes too much for her, and she collapses in her room. The situation becomes even more dangerous because Canfeza is pregnant. Any physical or emotional crisis now threatens not only her own life but also the baby she is carrying. Afet realizes that Canfeza has discovered the truth. The possibility of facing prison terrifies her, and instead of accepting responsibility, she begins looking for a way to escape the consequences. Afet's desperation reaches an extreme point. She knows that if the truth becomes public, her involvement in Sevde's death could destroy her life and permanently change the family. Rather than allowing herself to be taken to prison, Afet makes a horrifying decision. She opens the gas cylinder in the room where Canfeza is unconscious. The gas begins filling the room while Canfeza remains unaware of the danger. Her pregnancy makes the situation even more critical. Canfeza and her unborn baby are now in immediate mortal danger. The room becomes a deadly trap. Canfeza is unable to protect herself because she has already collapsed from the shock of learning the truth. The gas continues spreading as Afet's desperate action places the lives of both Canfeza and the unborn child at risk. The situation reveals just how far Afet is willing to go to prevent her secret from being exposed. The conflict that began with family resentment has now transformed into a direct threat to Canfeza's life. Mahir remains unaware of the immediate danger facing Canfeza. He has been dealing with his own investigation and the complicated secrets surrounding Asaf, Ozan and the family. The investigation has brought Mahir closer to the truth, but he does not yet know that Canfeza is fighting for her life inside the mansion. The contrast between Mahir's investigation and Canfeza's danger becomes increasingly dramatic. While Mahir searches for answers about the family's past, the woman carrying his child is trapped in a room filled with poisonous gas. Canfeza's pregnancy makes the danger especially heartbreaking. The baby that had brought Mahir and Canfeza so much happiness is now in serious danger before they have even had the opportunity to begin their new life together. The family remains unaware of the full scale of the emergency. Afet's actions are hidden behind the closed door, giving her enough time to escape while Canfeza remains unconscious. But Afet's decision creates an impossible situation. If Canfeza dies, the truth surrounding Sevde's death could still eventually come to light, while Afet would have to live with the consequences of having deliberately endangered a pregnant woman. The guilt and fear surrounding Afet begin to clash with her instinct for self-preservation. She has already crossed a terrible line by opening the gas cylinder, but the sight of Canfeza and the knowledge that an innocent baby is also at risk become impossible to ignore. Canfeza remains unconscious as the gas continues to threaten her life. The episode builds toward a desperate question: will anyone reach her before it is too late? Mahir's connection with Canfeza becomes crucial in this moment. Their relationship has survived kidnappings, family conflicts and dangerous enemies, but now Canfeza faces a threat from inside her own family. The danger is also connected directly to the secret surrounding Sevde's death. Canfeza's decision to seek the truth has placed her in the path of someone desperate enough to silence her. Meanwhile, the other family storylines continue developing. Ferman and Efsane remain determined to build a future together after deciding to marry, while the revelations surrounding Ferman's true parentage continue affecting the family. Mahir's investigation into the secrets kept by Asaf also moves forward. His discoveries are bringing him closer to understanding the hidden events that have shaped the Yılmaz family. The conflict surrounding Ozan and Raşit remains unresolved, but the immediate danger has shifted toward Canfeza and Afet's secret. Canfeza's pregnancy has therefore become the emotional center of the crisis. What began as a joyful announcement has now turned into a terrifying struggle for survival. Mahir has no idea that the woman he loves is unconscious and surrounded by poisonous gas. His determination to protect Canfeza makes the situation even more urgent because discovering her in time may be the only way to save her and their baby. Afet's actions also reveal the destructive consequences of allowing guilt and fear to control her decisions. Her attempt to escape prison has placed an innocent life in greater danger than the secret she was trying to protect. As the gas fills the room, Canfeza's condition becomes increasingly critical. Her unborn baby is also threatened, making every passing moment more dangerous. The episode reaches its most intense point with Canfeza trapped inside the room and Afet facing the consequences of her own actions. Canfeza's discovery of the truth about Sevde's death has therefore triggered a chain of events that could change the entire family forever. The secret that Afet desperately wanted to hide has now become the reason Canfeza is fighting for her life. Mahir's investigation and Canfeza's personal discovery are moving toward the same truth from different directions. While Mahir searches for the hidden secrets of his family, Canfeza has already uncovered one of the most devastating pieces of the puzzle. The danger surrounding Canfeza also threatens to destroy the happiness created by her pregnancy. Mahir had only recently learned that he was going to become a father, and now both Canfeza and his unborn child are in mortal danger. The episode ends with Canfeza unconscious in the gas-filled room and the fate of both mother and baby uncertain. Afet's desperate actions have created a life-threatening crisis that cannot remain hidden for long. Episode 96 closes on a major cliffhanger: Canfeza and her unborn baby are fighting for survival after Afet opens the gas cylinder to prevent the truth about Sevde's death from reaching the authorities. The next episode begins with the desperate attempt to save Canfeza and her baby, while Afet must finally face the consequences of what she has done.
